Wine is the most personal of all the categories in the Altieri collection — and the most difficult to select. Italy produces more distinct wine varieties than any other country on earth. Our approach is not to offer a comprehensive survey, but to select wines that represent their territory with exceptional clarity: wines made by families who farm their own land, who make decisions based on tradition and terroir rather than market trends, and whose wines tell you something true about where they come from.

How we select

Our wine selection is curated seasonally and by vintage. We do not maintain a fixed list — we offer what we believe represents the best of each producer's current release, and we are transparent about our reasoning.

Our producers

Our primary wine relationship is with Tenuta Calabrese in Piemonte, but the collection extends across Italy's great wine regions. All producers are family-owned estates with direct relationships with Altieri.
